New England Patriots Give President Trump AMAZING Gift After White House Visit
After winning their 6th Super Bowl since just 2002, President Donald Trump invited the New England Patriots to a celebratory visit at the White House.
The Patriots accepted the generous offer, unlike some teams which have refused in the past after winning championships such as the Golden State Warriors and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
There was a time when Donald Trump was well respected by players of the NFL. That is until everyone started lying about him being racist and bigoted.
Here’s a perfect case in point:
After a visit to the White House in 2017, Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, gave President Trump his very own commemorative Super Bowl ring.
According to USA Today,
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft gave President Trump a commemorative Super Bowl ring after the team’s visit to the White House in April.
Patriots spokesman Stacey James told USA TODAY Sports that during the team’s championship visit, Trump mentioned to Kraft, a longtime friend, how honored he was that the Patriots were the first team to visit the White House during his presidency.
Although the team came bearing traditional gifts on that occasion — a jersey and a helmet — Kraft decided that another gesture was necessary since New England was the first pro team to visit under the Trump administration.
It’s unclear whether or not the team’s owner had to pay for the ring out of his own pocket or not. The NFL covers the cost of 150 rings. Any more than that is up to the winning team to cover the costs.
Robert Kraft has been very generous over the years with Super Bowl rings.
Kraft also gave a ring to Tom Brady’s mother from the 2015 Super Bowl.
Robert Kraft also famously had his ring from Super Bowl 34 taken by Vladimir Putin in 2005 while he was visiting Russia. I never knew Putin was super a New England Patriots fan.
