One of the New York State Senators, of course, a Democrat, has come under fire after something he posted on Twitter yesterday.

The shocking incident happened Tuesday after Deputy Communications Director Candice Giove posted the following tweet Tuesday morning.

It got to the bottom of this. The placard is assigned to @SenatorParker. However, the license plate # on the placard does not match the vehicle. So he either used it in another car or gave it to someone to use, both of which are not permitted. https://t.co/dcu6ZUyVVO

Senator Kevin Parker of Brooklyn told Candice Glove to “Kill yourself!” after she called him out for his parking and misusing a parking placard.

Of course, he’s deleted the tweet since then and has apologized.

State Senator Parker said, “I sincerely apologize. I used a poor choice of words. Suicide is a serious thing and should not be made light of.”

However, his apology seems less than genuine after he has continued to go after Candice Giove since then, calling her an internet troll and saying that she is “on the wrong side of history for every important issue facing New York State!”

When you apologize for something and then turn around and attack that person, you can be sure that there is no genuine apology or remorse. He’s trying to cover his butt by saying sorry and magically everyone will tell him it’s okay and give him a good pat on the back.

This is the same thing as if I punched you in the face, got reprimanded for it, and told you, “I’m sorry I hit you, I was wrong…but you deserved it.” That’s not genuine remorse or a genuine apology, all that tells me is that you’re sorry you got caught or got in trouble. That’s all.

This isn’t even the first time that Kevin Parker has been in trouble.

In 2005, he was arrested for punching a traffic officer for writing him a ticket.

In 2010, he claimed that the lawmakers in Albany were, “long-term, white supremacist Republican senators.”

In 2011, he was convicted of a misdemeanor after breaking a press photographer’s finger and damaging his car.

If this had been ANY Republican who said what he said, that Republican would have lost their job by now and would probably have been charged with a hate crime of some sort. It’s absolutely appalling the double standards there are for Democrats.
