You Won’t Guess What Nutjob Democrat is Considering Running Against Biden
Marianne Williamson has been stirring up a storm of speculation regarding her potential plans to run for president in 2024. As a former Democratic presidential candidate and self-described “spiritual thought leader,” Williamson has been visiting states such as South Carolina, Iowa, and New Hampshire in an attempt to gain support and gauge interest in a potential bid against Biden.
In December 2020, reports began to surface that Williamson had created an exploratory committee donation page on the Act Blue Democrat fundraising platform. In addition, she has reportedly spent time connecting with donors as she considers her political future. Most recently Williamson has announced plans to visit New Hampshire, home of the first in the nation primary, in order to help her make a more informed decision about whether or not she will officially launch another presidential campaign.
Williamson first gained national attention when she ran for the Democratic nomination in 2020. Her debate appearances were highly publicized and often went viral due to their bizarre nature. Several of her comments during those debates were seen by some as indicative of progressive beliefs that made Biden appear more conservative by comparison.
Despite being relatively new to politics, Williamson has gained a following among many who identify with her willingness to challenge societal norms and speak out against injustices such as homelessness, hunger, and environmental degradation. Over the course of her presidential campaign, she received both criticism and praise for advocating policies such as free college tuition and adopting universal healthcare system similar to those found in other parts of the world.
Now it seems all eyes are on Marianne Williamson once again, with many wondering if they should start preparing their popcorn for another wild ride during the next election cycle. And while there is no definitive answer yet regarding whether or not she will run again in 2024, one thing is certain, her decision could very well shape the future course of American politics for years to come.
