There is no denying the fact that Joe Biden sold out to a lot of people to win the 2020 presidential election.

He told the uber-progressives in the party they would have a seat at the table and be permitted to dictate policy. He pandered to anti-Trumpers in the Republican party and told them all he would be a “president for all Americans.” Biden even went against policies he has supported his entire life because the current class of Democrats doesn’t like them.

There is also the matter of censorship that occurred during the election cycle. For instance, Facebook limited the reach of the Hunter Biden laptop story and Twitter banned it from the platform. There is simply no doubting the fact this helped Joe Biden enormously on election day.

Point being, there absolutely has to be a price to pay for all of this and Joe Biden appears to be paying his debts with clout and status rather than hard cash, which is probably even better for these particular individuals.

We have already seen numerous appointments in Biden’s Cabinet that would appear to payoffs for candidates dropping out of the race or for support. For instance, there is a story going around today that Pete Buttigieg, the former Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, a city with slightly more than 100,000 people, is being considered as the Secretary of Transportation. Buttigieg’s time as mayor was not exactly earth-shaking, so we have to wonder how he suddenly becomes an infrastructure guru.

This is typical of how D.C. operates, though. So, while Buttigieg’s position is concerning, it is not quite as concerning as four other appointments Biden made that slipped under the radar of most outlets.

The four individuals I am speaking of all worked for Facebook or Twitter.

Zaid Zaid is a public policy officer for Facebook. Zaid will now serve on Joe Biden’s State Department and International Development teams.

Facebook manager Christopher Upperman will be serving on Joe Biden’s Small Business Administration team.

Facebook Director and Associate General Counsel Rachel Lieber has a new job as part of Biden’s Intelligence Community Team.

Deon Scott, who also worked for Obama, is currently a Google program manager who will be serving on the Homeland Security team.

Scott’s appointment is particularly scary because we already know who much conservatives were censored leading up to this election, so imagine what an anti-conservative can do as part of Homeland Security.

Couple that with Lieber now working in the intelligence community, and conservatives have every right to be terrified that their First Amendment rights are about to be not just trampled on but obliterated.
