WOW! Trump Throws Shade at Ron DeSantis During Campaign Event (VIDEO)
I think that after the midterm elections are all behind us, we’re going to start learning more about who is and who isn’t going to be running for President of the United States of America in the 2024 election.
The two big names that comes to everyone’s mind is President Trump and Ron DeSantis for the Republican ticket. I think most conservatives would be happy with either one because they both have done a great job in their respective roles. I think if one decided to run, the other would likely step to the side.
They get along great, after all. No need to cause problems, right?
Well, you wouldn’t think so, so then explain to me why President Trump decided to actually throw a punch at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during a campaign event.
Trump made the attack while campaigning in Pennsylvania and he used a questionable poll that was conducted months ago, just shortly after the FBI’s criminal investigation into the former president’s handling of government records was made public following the Bureau’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
“Trump at 71, Ron DeSanctimonious at 10%,” Trump said as the crowd quieted.
There was very little reaction to Trump’s attack on DeSantis at the rally.
Or… Ron De…SaidNoToFauci… that’s another angle… #StandUpForAmerica https://t.co/VOznfgHNOm

C’mon though. Really? Why would he feel the need to insult the governor who is doing be best job in the entire country? Literally, what does he have to complain about? He even moved to his state!
“DeSantis is an extremely effective conservative governor who has had real policy wins and real cultural wins,” Daily Wire host Matt Walsh tweeted. “Trump isn’t going to be able to take this one down with a dumb nickname. He better have more than that up his sleeve.”
“Also, nice job launching your public attack against the most popular conservative governor in America three days before the midterms when we’re all supposed to be showing a united front,” Walsh continued.
Mark my words…while this sort of behavior won’t deter everyone, it will deter many conservatives from voting for President Trump if he does indeed run in the 2024 election. People did not like what he said.
Attacking a popular Republican Governor 3 days before a key election. Notice is always only goes one way with Trump. DeSantis hasn’t said one bad word about Trump. https://t.co/M4bZQOipBd

Trump missed the mark with the quip about DeSantis tonight. It's four days before the Midterm; the Governor is facing re-election and is a MAGA ally. No need for friendly fire. Keep the guns targeted on the Left.

This is who Trump has always been. He would rather sabotage GOP elected officials because he sees everyone as a rival for conservative's affection. https://t.co/dbMwmScHpu

This feels like the Steve Martin nose insult scene in the bar in Roxanne https://t.co/feND1OCSSy
