WOW! Parents of Michigan School Shooter Now Charged in Horrific Shooting
Ethan Crumbley is the young 15-year-old who recently opened fire on his classmates at Oxford High School killing four students and injuring several others.
This seems to be the retaliation from a young man who was bullied. For the life of me, I can’t understand why people still bully other students. How many times have we seen this happen?
But that brings the obvious question, where did he get his weapon to carry out this attack? Well, it came from his parents who purchased the gun for him.
According to the Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald, the weapon recovered following the shooting – a 9mm Sig Sauer pistol — was purchased by James Crumbley in the presence of his son at a local firearms store on Black Friday, per an employee that worked there.
The teen then took to social media around that date to post images of a semi-automatic handgun with the caption “just got my new beauty today [heart emoji] sig sauer 9mm any questions I will answer,” according to McDonald.
The next day, McDonald said Jennifer Crumbley posted on social media “mom and son day testing out his new Christmas present.”
In the week before the shooting, on Nov. 21, McDonald said a teacher at Oxford High School had noticed Ethan Crumbley searching for ammunition on his cell phone during class and reported the incident to administrators.
Now, let me just say this. It may be against the law for the young man to own the weapon, but how many of us went hunting as kids and shot for fun when we were young? I remember my dad used to let my friends and I shoot his guns for practice.
But there is more to the story than just a dad buying a gun for his son to shoot.
In fact, the boy’s mother texted him saying, “lol I’m not mad at you, you have to learn not to get caught”.

“The parents were the only individuals in the position to know the access to weapons,” Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald said Thursday. The gun “seems to have been just freely available to that individual.”
In Michigan, a person can be charged with involuntary manslaughter “if prosecutors believe someone contributed to a situation where harm or death was high,” NBC News reported. “If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison.”
McDonald said, “If you own a weapon or possess a weapon and you knowingly allow someone to have free access to it, who you have reason to believe might use it to injure somebody, that is willful and it’s gross negligence and there are lots of criminal consequences for that.”
