Why “Eat The Babies” Stunt Still Matters and Damages AOC’s Credibility
By now we’ve all seen the video of the young woman who stood up at an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez town hall event.
Honestly, it reeked of a stunt or a set up of some sort so it wasn’t very surprising when the news came out that this group had organized this form of political satire to expose the absurdity of AOC’s climate initiative
According to Fox News,
The stunt was seemingly an attempt to mock Ocasio-Cortez’s own calls for sweeping reforms like the so-called “Green New Deal” and warnings of catastrophic consequences if the world failed to address the issue.
Ocasio-Cortez responded to the woman on Thursday by attempting to calm her fears. “One of the things that’s very important to us is that we need to treat the climate crisis with the urgency that it does present,” she said.
AOC even tweeted later, “Turns out the woman yelling was a Trump supporter,” she tweeted alongside a shrugging emoji. “Doesn’t rule out potential mental issue (Drs [doctors] do that) but good to know they were not in crisis. Earlier this year I was stalked & very nearly hurt by a disturbed person. I don’t take chances & immediately try to de-escalate.”
Okay…so it was a set up…move on right? Not necessarily, there is something big here that no one is talking about…
AOC NEVER rules out the possibility of eating babies.
Now I don’t actually think AOC is in favor of eating babies by any means. But here’s the thing, she didn’t express how immoral and terrible the idea of eating babies is.
This isn’t something that has happened since the first century in Jerusalem during the time of the siege by the Romans in 70AD as a part of God’s judgment on Israel for breaking the covenant and fulfillment of what God said would happen in accordance with Leviticus 26.
