I just witnessed one of the biggest lies from the mouth of the White House Press Secretary. According to Karine Jean-Pierre, there has been a significant decrease of 90% in illegal immigration as a result of the policies implemented by Joe Biden. However, this is just absurd due to the ongoing surge in illegal immigration that has been observed in recent months.

One contributing factor to this influx of migrants is the expiration of Title 42, a program established under the Trump administration that required asylum seekers to remain in Mexico. With its expiration looming in the near future, the situation at the border is expected to escalate further.

“When it comes to illegal migration, you have seen it come down by more than 90%, and that’s because of the actions that this president has taken,” Karine Jean Pierre said.

You’ll notice that this got fact checked on Twitter, because it’s an obvious lie. Illegal immigration broke records for 2022. I HIGHLY doubt that in the last four months, he has done anything at all to reduce illegal immigration by 90%. In fact, I know he hasn’t because the Democrats would be shouting it from the rooftops at how great a savior Joe Biden is for solving the illegal immigration problem.

In reality, the only thing that I can see is that what she might be saying, if it’s not just a flat out lie, is that they’ve created some program that essentially declassifies them as illegal immigrants and calls them something else, pretending that they didn’t come there illegally.

There are a few things to notice. Look at the 2023 statistics by month. They are still right around 200,000 encounters per month, which was up to 250,000 just a few months prior.

And do you see that red line at the bottom? That was President Trump. If you look at 2021, you can even see exactly when immigration started shooting up again and that was when Joe Biden assumed office.
