WH Gives Women’s Award to Mentally Ill Man
As the world celebrated International Women’s Day, the White House hosted the International Women of Courage ceremony to honor women who have shown exceptional bravery in their respective fields. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the award given to a biological male during the ceremony instead of actually giving the award to a woman.
The International Women of Courage Award is meant to recognize and celebrate women who have demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership in advocating for human rights, gender equality, and social progress. It is a prestigious award that has been given out since 2007 by the US Department of State.
But this year’s ceremony took an unexpected turn when a biological male received one of the awards. This decision has sparked outrage among many who believe that it belittles the struggles and achievements of real women.

This guy may “feel” like and identify as a woman, but biology cannot be changed. The fact remains that they were born male and did not experience life as a woman. To give them an award meant for women is not only ridiculous, but also insulting to all the real women who have fought hard for things that really matter. They’ve essentially given this guy an award because he’s mentally challenged.
This decision sends a message that being a woman is nothing more than identifying as one. It also raises questions about how much thought was put into selecting recipients for this award.
The International Women of Courage Award should be reserved for those who have truly demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership in advocating for women’s rights if they’re going to be giving these awards out in the first place. Giving it to someone based solely on their gender identity diminishes its value and significance.
But given our looney tune administration in the White House, this is exactly what we should expect.
