As we are wrapping up the holiday season, most of us at some point have found ourselves wishing someone else a Merry Christmas. It’s what we do this time of year…that is unless you’re a snowflake or as it appears now a Muslim.

According to Sheikh Younus Kathrada, an Islamic imam in Canada, for a Muslim to wish someone a Merry Christmas is WORSE than murder.

A video surfaced on Twitter right before Christmas with the imam giving this message of hate.

The Imam said:

“Nowadays, of course, we are close to Christians. We see around us that people are preparing themselves to celebrate Christmas, and with great sadness we see that amongst us there are those who think it’s a small matter, and so, not only might we congratulate them on their Christmas, on their false holiday and celebration, but we may take part in their holiday as well. …

Do you know that you and I must be offended when people say that they worship Jesus or when they say that Jesus is the son of God? Why do our hearts not react? …

There are those who will say to them “Merry Christmas.” What are you congratulating them on? Congratulations on the birth of your Lord? Is that acceptable to a Muslim? Are you now approving of their beliefs? By saying that you are approving of it …

If a person were to commit every major sin — committing adultery, dealing with interest, lying, murder; if a person were to do all of those major sins, they are nothing compared to the sin of congratulating and greeting the non-Muslims on their false festivals.

This doesn’t mean that we treat the non-Muslims in a bad way or that we deal with them unjustly. I’m not saying, and I’ve never said, “Go out and just kill them, and do this to them… No! Because Allah tells us not to allow the enmity that may exist between you and a people to cause you to be unjust towards them. Rather, be just.”

This isn’t the first time Kathrada has made his way into the news. In 2005 he was being investigated for referring to Jews as, “the brothers of the monkeys and the swine” an endorsing offensive jihad to convert infidels and stating that it is “inconceivable that a true believer [in Allah] will not desire martyrdom.”

That’s what they believe folks. Pick up a Quran and read it. Learn what Islam teaches before calling it a “religion of peace”.

Read about oppressing women in Surah 4:34, or 5:17 that says Christians are infidels, or cutting off the hands and feet of thieves in 5:38, how they’re not to be friends with Jews or Christians in 5:51, or how they are to kill Christians in 9:5, wage war with non-believers 9:29, etc.
