One thing that this pandemic has led to is a rise in crime. Not only has crime risen, but the criminals have become so emboldened as to literally just steal from a store in the middle of the day because they know that the store and police isn’t going to do anything about it.

On the other side of the coin, because have become more cowardly as well. But given the way criminals are, this is partially understandable because sometimes having courage in little situations gets you killed.

I know of a guy who lives in my area who was killed because he confronted a guy who was cursing at his son. He didn’t threaten the man, he didn’t do anything to try and harm him, yet the man decided to shoot him anyway. Now he’s in prison, the victim is dead, and the lives of four children were changed forever.

However, one elderly lady decided she wasn’t going to put up with that sort of stealing garbage anymore, not on her watch.

The brave elderly woman stopped an alleged shoplifter from leaving a Walmart store by ripping off his balaclava.

In a video uploaded to Facebook on Saturday, a man wearing a balaclava pushed a shopping cart filled with items towards the exit of a Canadian Walmart, according to CHEK.

The man filming inside the Campbell River Walmart then asks the man in the ski mask if he plans to pay for his items, to which the alleged shoplifter said “yeah.”

I’m telling you, this is the best video that you’ll see all day. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see justice being meted out.
