Venezuela Government Opens Fire On It’s Own People, Here Are The Responses From AOC and Sanders
The scene in Venezuela is an absolute mess!
This, my friends, is exactly what happens when you let Socialism run its course. It always, ALWAYS end badly.
According to The Daily Wire,
“Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó took to the streets on Tuesday, calling on citizens and the military to back him up in the ‘final phase’ of the interim president’s plan to end the regime of socialist President Nicolás Maduro,” Fox News reported. “Guaido’s announcement immediately drew support from politicians in the U.S., which said earlier this year it would recognize Guaidó as the country’s interim president.”
At the time this report was written, neither of the socialist politicians had made any remarks about what was happening in Venezuela which included reports that the government had fired on protesters and a disturbing video of an armored military vehicle driving over protesters.
Trish Regan tweeted, “Breaking now in #Venezuela – LISTEN: you can hear the #MaduroRegime firing a mix of pellets and live ammo at the people as #NicolasMaduro attempts to repress the uprising.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders, are both known for their radical views following Socialism and just calling it Democratic Socialism.
Ocasio-Cortez said the following about the situation in Venezuela and Maduro firing on the country’s citizens:
NOTHING.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is speechless. She has nothing to say and why would she, she would have to admit how bad socialism is and how it once again didn’t work.
Well, at least good ol’ Bernie Sanders offered these words:
Again…NOTHING!
They have both been silent on Venezuela.
Many politicians however, have not been silent about the situation.
Vice President Mike Pence – “To @jguaido, the National Assembly and all the freedom-loving people of Venezuela who are taking to the streets today in #operacionlibertad—Estamos con ustedes! We are with you! America will stand with you until freedom & democracy are restored. Vayan con dios! #FreeVenezuela”

Secretary Mike Pompeo – “Today interim President Juan Guaido announced start of Operación Libertad. The U.S. Government fully supports the Venezuelan people in their quest for freedom and democracy. Democracy cannot be defeated. #EstamosUnidosVE”

Marco Rubio – “After years of suffering freedom is waiting for people of #Venezuela. Do not let them take this opportunity from you. Now is the moment to take to the streets in support of your legitimate constitutional government. Do not allow this moment to slip away. It may not come again”
