Trump Campaign Director Slams Castro’s Campaign for His Abusive Tweet
Joaquin Castro, the brother of Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro may have just destroyed his brother’s career and chances at getting elected.
He posted a tweet containing many names of individuals who donated to the Trump campaign as well as where many of them work.
According to Fox News,
The Trump campaign on Tuesday blasted Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro, the brother and campaign chairman of 2020 presidential hopeful Julian Castro, for publicly posting a list of prominent Texas Trump donors’ names and employers — accusing him of “targeting” private citizens and demanding he delete it.
The campaign told Fox News they reported Castro’s tweet to Twitter, arguing it violates the platform’s abusive behavior provision stating users cannot “engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so.”
Trump’s campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh tweeted,
How low have Dems sunk?
This is Joaquin Castro, Congressman & chair of his brother’s campaign.
Naming private citizens & their employers, targeting them for political views and exercising 1st Amendment rights.
Should delete & apologize. Castro campaign should disavow.

Kevin McCarthy tweeted in response to the abuse,
“Targeting and harassing Americans because of their political beliefs is shameful and dangerous. What happened to “when they go low, we go high?” Or does that no longer matter when your brother is polling at 1%? Americans deserve better.”
To which Joaquin Castro, replied,
No one was targeted or harassed in my post. You know that. All that info is routinely published.
You’re trying to distract from the racism that has overtaken the GOP and the fact that President Trump spends donor money on thousands of ads about Hispanics “invading” America. 1/2
Donald Trump has put a target on the back of millions. And you’re too cowardly or agreeable to say anything about it.
How about I stop mentioning Trump’s public campaign donors and he stops using their money for ads that fuel hate?

How is he not targeting or causing harassment to these individual donors?
He called them out by name…that is targeting without a doubt. And he’s essentially doxxed them by showing where many of them work subjecting them to harassment by liberal snowflakes.
This sounds like it’s going to be a good legal battle to me.
