Trudeau Takes a Hit! Slams Israel, Gets Slammed Right Back by Netanyahu!
In a fiery exchange of words, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau found himself on the receiving end of a blistering response from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he dared to criticize Israel’s military operations against the terrorist group Hamas.
Trudeau had the audacity to condemn Israel for its actions around Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, conveniently overlooking the fact that Hamas command headquarters are reportedly located beneath the hospital, in clear violation of international law. The Canadian leader’s remarks were a blatant dismissal of the atrocities committed by Hamas and the efforts taken by Israel to minimize harm to Palestinian citizens.
“The human tragedy that is unfolding in Gaza is heartwrenching, especially the suffering we see in and around Al-Shifa hospital,” Trudeau said, ignoring reports, including from the Biden administration, that Hamas has located their headquarters under the hospital in violation of international law.
“I have been clear that the price of justice cannot be the continued suffering of all Palestinian civilians,” Trudeau continued. “Even wars have rules; all innocent life is equal in worth, Israeli and Palestinian. I urge the government of Israel to exercise maximum restraint. The world is watching on TV, on social media; we’re hearing the testimonies of doctors, family members, survivors, kids who’ve lost their parents. The world is witnessing this; the killing of women, children, of babies. This has to stop.”
Netanyahu didn’t let this slide. He hit back hard, pointing out the brutalities of Hamas and Israel’s diligent attempts to keep civilians out of harm’s way. He made it clear – it’s Hamas, not Israel, that should be held accountable for committing a double war crime—targeting civilians while hiding behind them.
Trudeau’s criticism came despite confirmation from the Biden administration and U.S. intelligence reports that Hamas is using Al-Shifa hospital as cover for its terror operations. Yet, Trudeau chose to turn a blind eye to these reports, instead urging Israel to exercise “maximum restraint.”
Netanyahu, refusing to be silenced, responded with a powerful counterpunch. He highlighted how Hamas had “bеhеaded, burnеd and massacrеd civilians in the worst horrors perpetrated on Jews since the Holocaust,” while Israel had been providing civilians in Gaza with humanitarian corridors and safe zones.
It is not Israel that is deliberately targeting civilians but Hamas that beheaded, burned and massacred civilians in the worst horrors perpetrated on Jews since the Holocaust.
While Israel is doing everything to keep civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing…

This isn’t the first time Trudeau has sided with Palestinian terrorists over Israel. Back in May 2018, when Hamas organized protests at the border to instigate conflict with Israel, Trudeau issued a statement condemning Israel. He was later slammed by the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) but refused to reiterate his previous condemnation of Hamas as a terrorist organization.
This recent exchange between Trudeau and Netanyahu is yet another example of the Canadian leader’s misguided and biased approach towards the Israel-Palestine conflict. He seems to be more interested in making sensational statements than in acknowledging the complex realities on the ground. But as long as leaders like Netanyahu are around, such distortions of truth won’t go unchallenged.
The world is indeed watching, and it’s clear who is standing on the side of justice and who is pandering to terrorists.
