Trans Wacko Gets Fired After Viral Video
A transgender Starbucks employee has been fired after a video of an altercation with a customer went viral on social media. The employee also attacked another customer who was filming the incident, trying to grab his phone and shouting “give me the phone”.
The video, which was posted by media personality Oil London on Twitter, has received more than 4.4 million views and has sparked outrage among many viewers. Some have called the employee’s behavior “disgusting”, “unprofessional”, and “violent”. Others have defended the employee, saying he was provoked by the customer’s ignorance and disrespect.
The video shows the transgender worker, who identifies as a woman, arguing with a female customer who apparently “misgendered” him. The worker accuses the customer of being transphobic and orders her to leave the store. He also calls her a “Karen”, a derogatory term for an entitled and rude white woman.
The customer denies being transphobic and demands a refund, but the worker refuses and claps in her face. He then notices that another customer is filming the scene and charges at him, trying to grab his phone. The video ends with the worker shouting “give me the phone” and the person videoing saying “let go of me”.
The woman was later identified as Vanessa Thomas, who said that the video did not capture the entire altercation.
“The video does not tell you the whole story. It was very frightening and shocking. The Starbucks manager grabbed me and threw me out of the café. I could have been seriously hurt or even killed because if Mark hadn’t caught me, I would have crashed onto the pavement,” she said, referring to her partner.
A Starbucks spokesperson told Fox News that the worker was fired by the licensee who owns the branch, and that Starbucks has no tolerance for such behavior.
This is not the first time that Starbucks has been involved in controversies related to transgender issues, and I’m sure that it won’t be the last.
