This is just crazy.

Democrats in the House of Representatives are practically demanding that they be given the right to approve new stories that are produced by Fox News.

Excuse me? No, thank you. We’d never have any news at all except for fake made up garbage that outlets like CNN produce daily.

By the way, they’re not suggesting they should be granted the authority to approve of all news outlets, only Fox News. That’s sounding very unconstitutional to be.

Allowing the government to decide what can be released to the public and what cannot would be a violation of freedom of the press as well as a violation of free speech.

According to Breitbart,

House Committee on Oversight and Reform chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wrote to former Fox News reporter Diana Falzone last month demanding that she turn over any documents relating to Trump’s alleged extramarital affairs.

An article in the New Yorker last month alleged that Fox News executive Ken LaCorte spiked the story to protect Trump — a claim LaCorte has vehemently denied, saying the story lacked corroborating evidence and that the network was merely practicing responsible journalism, as were other outlets who declined the story.

That article seems to have motivated Cummings’s letter — a letter that not only seeks personal dirt on the president, but seeks information that might be used to review Fox News’ editorial decisions. The committee’s letter suggests that Fox News may have violated campaign finance rules if it tried to help Trump by suppressing the Daniels story.

But it seems that Democrats really do want to silence anyone who disagrees with them. It doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong. If you have an opinion different than the one that CNN feeds to its viewers, then you should be silenced and would be silenced if liberals got their way.
