The Latest Spiderman Villian Will Have You Cheering and Cracking Up
I’ve never been much of a comic book enthusiast. I’ve read some when I was a kid and some as an adult, but I never really got into superheroes.
The comic books that I read as a kid were ones like Ren and Stimpy and as an adult, I read The Walking Dead for a while. One exception to this would be that as an adult, I’ve also read anime comic like Death Note and Dragon Ball Super. But none of those really fit that standard idea of superhero comics.
But I can’t say that I’m not amused by what the recent Spider-Man comic book is doing. There is a new villain and he just so happens to have a name that you’re very familiar with. The villain’s name is Joe Biden.
“I’m crying why the f – – k is Joe Biden a Spider-Man villain,” wrote one flabbergasted Spider-fan in a tweet with more than 120,000 likes. The fan also included a Wikipedia page for the minor league baddie, whose name is indeed Joe Biden.
The presidential doppelganger, whose villainous alter ego is called Spectrum, first appeared in “Peter Parker No. 1″ in 2010, when the real Biden, 79, was the US vice president under Barack Obama. The page even includes an out-of-date disclaimer to warn readers that the web slinger’s nemesis is “not to be confused with Vice President Joe Biden.”
So the villain goes by the name Spectrum, but also his real name is Joe Biden. Just like Spider-Man is the hero’s name, but Peter Parker is his real name.

Found the first comic he appeared in and I have to say this one of the funniest out of context comic book panels I’ve ever seen. pic.twitter.com/a4RUfXvtUr

Apparently, Joe Biden isn’t just a villain in the real world, he’s even a villain in the Marvel Universe as well.
