“Sit Down!…You’re a Sick Son of a B****” – Beto O’Rourke Interrupts Press Conference Following Mass Shooting
On Wednesday, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott held a press conference which was dramatically interrupted by multi-failed candidate Beto O’Rourke. He tried to win the Senate and failed. He ran for president and failed. Now he’s running for Governor, and will have to face off against Abbott this November.
Beto doesn’t even stand a chance at winning, but he might has well go for the triple crown that way he has a failure in three different big races.
But as I said, that press conference was interrupted by Beto when he made a show to try and attack Abbott for supporting guns and not doing enough to protect children.
When Beto started shouting and pointing at Abbott one member on the stage started screaming back at him.
“You are doing nothing,” O’Rourke said. “You said this was not predictable; this was totally predictable, and you choose not to do anything.”
“Sir, you are out of line. Please leave this auditorium,” Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin reprimanded O’Rourke, adding, “I can’t believe you’re a sick son of a b**** who would come to a deal like this to make a political issue.”
Does Beto think that this makes him look good or tough? It makes him look like a fool if you ask me, but he doesn’t have the sense to realize it. Honestly, he reminds me of Bobby Newport from the show Parks and Recreation if you’ve ever seen it.
But this was a planned outburst apparently. CBS reporter Janet Shamlian said that she saw exactly what happened for the outburst took place:
“Well, I did see what happened just before the press conference started,” she said. “I was in the third aisle — row — third row on the aisle, rather, and there were two people across the aisle from me and a moment before the press conference started, they got up from their seats when Beto walked in.”
“So they were seat holders for him,” Shamlian continued. “And then he sat down, so his presence wasn’t really noticed in the 15 or 20 minutes that people were gathering inside because he was not in the room. So this seems something very clearly staged by Beto O’Rourke and his campaign wanting to confront the governor at this moment.”
