SHOCKING: You’ll Never Believe What Was Stolen Off a Truck in Colorado
A shocking thing happened over the weekend in Denver, Colorado.
First of all, we all know that theft has been on the increase since the start of the pandemic. During the “summer of love” crime skyrocketed and while it has come down, it’s still not “low” by any means.
Normally, when you see theft taking place, it’s jewelry, clothes, food, electronics, etc. It sort of just depends on who it is that’s committing the theft. Certain demographics seem to steal different things for some reason.
However, what was stolen in Denver beats all that I’ve ever seen.
Human remains were stolen out of a medical truck used to transport body parts for medical research.
In Denver’s Central Park neighborhood, it’s a family atmosphere. There are a lot of families and kids getting off the bus from school and people out walking the dogs.
Isaac Fields takes his dog, Margot, to the dog park almost every day. He moved here about three years ago.
“Pretty shocking. I guess I don’t see too many strange things happening around here usually, but you know you never know,” Fields said. “Wow! I would have been so terrified.”
Near 23rd Avenue around 11 a.m. Thursday morning, Denver Police said someone broke into a box truck and took a dolly and a box of human remains.
Sources told KDVR/KWGN it was a blue and white cardboard box about 20 x 15 x18 inches with “Science Care” written on the sides. Inside the box? Human heads.
Did he know what he was stealing? What was the purpose of doing it? I think that some people are just so demented today that this may have actually seemed like a good idea to the thief.
I just really wonder what someone could do with the heads. Maybe it’s just the thrill of stealing them and then discarding them. People have done crazier things.
