Perhaps you saw the event that transpired in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. I know that’s actually a bit of a vague statement to make given how much of a hell-hole the city is. There seems to always be something happening in Washington, D.C.

But I’m referring to the incident which left a man dead during a carjacking.

Two girls, ages 13 and 15 decided that it was a good idea to try and steal a car during an armed carjacking. The man, Mohammad Anwar, 66, was making deliveries for Uber Eats near Nationals Park in the district’s Navy Yard neighborhood when the two teenage girls tried to steal his car.

Detective Chad Leo of the Metropolitan Police Department testified in court Wednesday that the girls entered Anwar’s car armed with a stun gun and a struggle ensued, The Washington Post reported. Anwar was hanging out of the open driver’s side door when one of the girls turned on the ignition and “manipulated” the gear shift, Leo said.

The car suddenly accelerated down the street and made a sharp right turn before crashing into a parked car and overturning moments later, Leo testified.

Anwar sustained life-threatening injuries, including multiple broken bones, as a result of the incident, Leo testified. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators determined the girls “assaulted the victim with a taser” during the carjacking, police said in a statement Wednesday.

A witness at the crime scene captured most of the event on video.

One of the most disturbing things about the incident as well comes near the end of the video in which one of the girls is more concerned about her cell phone still being in the car than the man laying on the street.

But just to make matter worse, the Mayor of Washington, D.C., who happens to be a die-hard liberal, is trying to make it sound like it was the man’s fault. Why? Well, of course, because the two girls are black.

“Auto theft is a crime of opportunity. Follow these steps to reduce the risk of your vehicle becoming a target,” Bowser said Sunday morning.

And of course, she deleted the tweet, but the damage is already done. But I’m sure nothing will be done about it.
