The woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, Christine Blasey Ford has popped up in the news again.

This time she has been chosen to speak on the behalf of Sports Illustrated to honor and present an award to a real sexual assault victim, Rachael Denhollander.

According to The Daily Wire,

On Tuesday evening, Sports Illustrated announced the person they were acknowledging as their “Inspiration of the Year.” They made a singularly appropriate choice, naming Rachel Denhollander, the lawyer and gymnast who was the first woman to come forward with charges of sexual assault against former Michigan State and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nasser.

But Sports Illustrated also chose someone whom some people might find inappropriate to present the award: Christine Blasey Ford, who made uncorroborated, unverifiable, and unsubstantiated accusations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh that he had sexually assaulted her when they were both teenagers. 

As a reminder, the Senate Judiciary Committee report on the matter shows that now a single claim of sexual misconduct against Justice Brett Kavanaugh can be supported by any hard evidence or corroboration from others who were supposedly there.

Town Hall reported regarding the hearing,

In the legal context, here is my bottom line: A ‘he said, she said’ case is incredibly difficult to prove. But this case is even weaker than that. Dr. Ford identified other witnesses to the event, and those witnesses either refuted her allegations or failed to corroborate them,” Mitchell wrote about the situation. “For the reasons discussed below, I do not think that a reasonable prosecutor would bring this case based on the evidence before the Committee. Nor do I believe that this evidence is sufficient to satisfy the preponderance-of-the-evidence standard.

Now, on the other hand, Rachael Denhollander who is an actual victim of sexual assault from a paedophile sexual predator is well deserving of such an award from Sports Illustrated. But what kind of statement does it make when you choose someone like Christine Blasey Ford to be to the person to present the award?

They know well what statement they’re making. Sports Illustrated doesn’t care that there is no evidence to support Blasey Ford’s story. On the contrary, there is even evidence to suggest that it didn’t occur.

This all goes to show though that among the liberal mindset, it doesn’t matter how much evidence there is or isn’t about anything. They are going to support their side regardless of if they’re lying or not.
