Several Capitol Police Officers Facing Retribution After Internal Probe of January 6th Incident
There have been several reports since the January 6th event that have called the mainstream narrative into question.
From that very day that it was happening, the Democrats and the media spun it to be something that it never was, that is to say and insurrection.
I’ve said it before, but if it were an insurrection or a coup attempt, I’ll guarantee that one of two things would have likely happened, several people would be dead or it would have been a successful coup. The fact that there were no guns should tell you everything that you need to know.
Nobody in their right mind would attempt an insurrection with no weapons; that’s just idiotic.
However, what appears to have happened that day was that the Capitol police were in on it and actually allowed the protesters to go into the Capitol building without putting up any resistance.
On top of that, we know that one officer shot and killed Ashli Babbitt.
These actions have been under the scrutiny of a probe to see if there was any wrongdoing and it looks like several officers may be facing some disciplinary action.
A statement released by Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman said:
“Our Office of Professional Responsibility will investigate these behaviors for disciplinary action, up to, and including termination.”
“Several USCP officers have already been suspended pending the outcome of their investigations.”
“Some complaints did not contain enough information to identify the officer at the center of the complaint. Three for conduct unbecoming. One for failure to comply with directives. One for improper remarks. One for improper dissemination of information.”
USA Today reported,
Matt Braynard, a former Trump staffer who is organizing the Sept. 18 rally, said that the protest would be peaceful and that members of Congress were invited to speak. Rallies also will be held in 13 state capitals, Braynard said.
“This fake insurrection narrative will not be defeated by ignoring it,” Braynard tweeted Saturday. “Help us push back and demand #justiceforj6 at the US Capitol on September 18.”
“We are closely monitoring Sept. 18,” Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger said. “After Jan. 6, we made department-wide changes to the way we gather and share intelligence internally and externally. I am confident the work we are doing now will make sure our officers have what they need to keep everyone safe.”
