Senator Tim Scott Shuts Down Biden Official for Her Shockingly Racist Comments
It really is like we’ve traveled through some sort of time loop and went back to 1960. Racist is once again alive and thriving, but it’s almost exclusively coming from the left. I don’t know how they don’t see it.
It’s so crazy to me that they continue to label conservatives as racists when they almost can’t keep their mouths shut long enough to not say something racist themselves. If I were to ever accept the idea that people have some sort of racist bias about them that they are just not aware of that they’ve been blinded to, it would be in the Democratic party.
Just this week, Biden’s own Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was put in her place by a black senator, Senator Tim Scott, after she made some racist remarks regarding abortion.
“What we are talking about is whether or not women will have the ability to regulate their reproductive situation in ways that will enable them to plan lives that are fulfilling and satisfying for them,” Yellen said.
The Biden official said that one aspect of a satisfying life is to “feel that you have the financial resources to raise a child, that the children you bring into the world are wanted, and that you have the ability to take care of them.”
“In many cases,” she continued, “abortions are teenage women, particularly low income, and often black, who aren’t in a position to be able to care for children, have unexpected pregnancies, and it deprives them of the ability, often, to continue their education to later participate in the workforce.”
Senator Scott interrupted Yellen and told her, “I’ll just simply say that, as a guy raised by a black woman in abject poverty, I am thankful to be here as a United States senator.”
And here's Yellen explaining to @SenatorTimScott, the black son of a single mother who grew up in poverty, that it's especially important for black women to have abortion access because they are often poor.

Women don’t need abortions, what we need is to restore the idea of family, not just in black communities, but across the country no matter what color your skin is. We need to quit incentivizing people to stay unmarried, quit telling women that they will only find real fulfilment in life through working a career. That’s not to say that you can’t enjoy life with a fulfilling career, but if your identity is hinged on your job…you’re doing life wrong, because life is about so much more.
Every human is capable of so much greatness, they only need the opportunity to make it known.
