Rudy Giuliani Says De Blasio Is Ordering Police Not to Enforce the Law or Make Arrests (VIDEO)
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani ripped into current New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio during an interview with Sean Hannity last week.
We’ve seen in NYC that the rioters have been looting and destroying the city just as they have been other cities in America.
One of the reasons why it’s bad in NYC is because of Mayor de Blasio according to Giuliani. He said that de Blasio actually called the police chiefs and ordered them to not enforce the law or to make arrests. He’s literally allowing them to get away with crime because he’s scared.
Giuliani said,
“The de Blasio Cuomo problem is a special problem. And they hate each other. And frankly, de Blasio is completely incompetent. And the governor really in good conscience should replace him. He is the sole reason the New York City Police Department is not acting… De Blasio over the last three or four or five nights calls individual police chiefs and tells them not to enforce the law and not to make arrests, it goes around the police commissioner and does that. It’s outrageous…they don’t want people stealing and not interrupt them unless somebody is holding them back… The person who’s holding them back is Mayor de Blasio. I know that, Cuomo knows that, everybody in the world knows that.”
Giuliani then goes on to say that not only is Mayor de Blasio not enforcing the law, but he is also interfering with the enforcement of the law and that Gov. Andrew Cuomo should remove and replace him.
The former NYC mayor actually says that they tried this with him ten times while he was leading the city and as he put it, “they never got past first base”.
I agree, Cuomo needs to remove de Blasio and put in someone who is halfway competent.
