Ridiculous Artwork to Fetch $500,000 at Auction
When it comes to art, there are certainly a lot of wonderful pieces out there. I’ve always been a fan of art, and it’s always been a hobby of mine as well.
But I can’t for the life of me figure out what in the world is going on with the art scene today. One thing you can speak about is how in the world Hunter Biden is able to create some garbage paintings and sell them for tons of money.
Then, there’s the whole issue with NFT images that sell for tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars or maybe even millions of dollars at this point, depending on how you look at it.
I can’t even understand why people think buying these things is a good idea. If the image exists online, it’s not as though the images are just going to disappear. They’re still there all over the internet and it’s always going to be there.
Now, I could understand if there was some sort of possibility in which people could receive some sort of compensation because they own the originals, but that’s not even the case.
As bad as that sounds that’s not even the worst thing that I’ve seen recently.
It is expected that an invisible painting is going to sell for around half a million dollars soon.
Take that in for a moment. It’s invisible…meaning you can’t see it. But it’s being labeled as art and the guy is hailed as a genius. I’ll give him credit, he’s a marketing genius if he’s able to market something that doesn’t exist and sell it for $500,000. Kudos to him and all, but how are people so stupid to buy a piece of art that they can’t even see?
