Restaurant Comments On Vance Visit
Trump supporters are outraged, and rightfully so, after an incident involving Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance at a Primanti Brothers location in North Versailles, Pennsylvania.
On September 28, Vance arrived at the Pittsburgh-based eatery to meet with supporters, only to be denied entry by the restaurant’s management. According to eyewitnesses and video footage, the manager informed Vance’s team that this was “not a campaign stop” and even threatened to call the police if Vance attempted to enter the building.
What’s particularly galling about this situation is the glaring double standard. Just a month earlier, the same Primanti Brothers location reportedly cleared out actual paying customers to host Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, for a private event. The Harris campaign was free to stage a photo-op, complete with mingling and smiling supporters, while Vance wasn’t even allowed in the door. The hypocrisy couldn’t be more blatant.
I will now post all Primanti Brothers videos from today. They absolutely banned JD Vance from their restaurant. #PrimantiBros pic.twitter.com/SfPFzIcUdA

Social media quickly lit up, with many calling for a boycott of Primanti Brothers’ parent company, Authentic Restaurant Brands. The company, which owns other restaurant chains like P.J. Whelihans, Pollotropical, and Mambo Seafood, is now facing the wrath of conservatives nationwide.
The contrast between how the two campaigns were treated is crystal clear, and it’s hard not to see this as yet another example of political bias favoring the Left.
To make matters worse, Primanti Brothers’ attempt to walk back the incident was as weak as it was predictable. In a statement, the company claimed that the Vance campaign caused “momentary confusion” due to the sudden appearance of Secret Service and a large crowd.
They went on to assert that Vance was eventually welcomed inside—something contradicted by eyewitness accounts and footage of the incident. The damage was already done, and no amount of corporate backpedaling can undo the blatant bias on display.
.@primantibros refused to let @JDVance in to their restaurant full of customers waiting to greet him. They all paid for their drinks, cancelled their food orders and left after hearing that VP candidate was not welcome.
