As of Friday morning, President Donald Trump declared a National Emergency at pertaining to the ongoing problem at the U.S and Mexico border.

The President has been working to negotiate for a long time now and Democrats are completely unwilling to compromise their position at all.

They have no real interest in protecting Americans. They have no real interest in treating criminals like criminals. They have no real interest in making sure they obey our laws for lawful entry into our country. What else is left to do to protect the citizens of the United States but to declare a national emergency?

According to the Daily Wire,

While Democrats are expected to fight the move — and likely will seek to halt the plan via court action — Trump will declare that as president, he has the authority to redirect federal funds in order to stem a crisis.

The money Trump plans to use for his border barrier, which he has been promising since his campaign days, include $1.375 billion that is included in a spending bill he will sign in the Rose Garden ceremony, $600 million from the Treasury Department’s drug Forfeiture Fund, money seized by the U.S. government, $2.5 billion from a Defense Department drug interdiction program, and $3.5 billion from a military construction budget, NBC News reports.

The news that President Trump would declare a National Emergency came Thursday night after both the Senate and the House of Representatives approved a budget to prevent another shutdown and sending the bill to the desk of the President.

President Trump is supposed to sign the funding bill, but also declare the National Emergency.

Nancy Pelosi calls the move an “end-run around the will of the people. We will review our options, we’ll be prepared to respond appropriately to it.”

This shows her disconnect with the American people, because 72% of the country FAVORS a border wall. So which people is Pelosi talking about? I think she just means her and her cronies, not Americans.
