POWERFUL: Black Father SLAMS ȻRT in Front of School Board (VIDEO)
A father of young school-aged children recently went viral in a speech aimed at the local school board in Illinois and their push toward teaching children Ȼritical RaȻe Theory.
The man, who happens to be black himself, denounced the racist teaching of ȻRT and how it’s only going to teach kids to hate one another.
“When you talk about Ȼritical RaȻe Theory, which is pretty much gonna be teaching kids how to hate each other, how to dislike each other … it’s pretty much what it’s all going to come down to,” Ty Smith said. “You going to deliberately teach kids, this white kid right here got it better than you because he white? You going to purposely tell a white kid, ‘Oh, the black people are all down and suppressed.’ How do I have two medical degrees if I’m sitting here oppressed?”
“Two medical degrees. No mom, no dad in the house. Worked my way through college, sat there and hustled my butt off to get through college,” he continued. “You going to tell me somebody look like all y’all white folks kept me from doing it? Are you serious? Not one white person ever came to me and said, ‘Well son, you’re never gonna be able to get nowhere because, you know, the black people.’”
“Well, how did I get where I am right now if some white man kept me down?” he continued. “How am I now directing over folks that look just like you guys in this room right now? How? What kept me down? What oppressed me? I worked myself from off the streets to where I am right now, and you’re going to sit here and tell me this lie of Ȼritical RaȻe Theory? Of this, the reason why black folks can’t get ahead because of white folks? Are you kidding me? This is what we’ve come to? I can’t believe we even talking about this right now.”
Watch the video below:
I’m so impressed with how well he articulated exactly the problem and he even put it into analogous terms which makes it easier to really grasp the problem of Ȼritical RaȻe Theory.
If you didn’t watch the video, go back and listen to the part about when he was in third grade or you may not understand this next part.
When he was telling the story of the kids with cold lunches getting to go to the front of the line, that made me start thinking about whether or not my school did the same thing. I honestly can’t remember, but it did seem like there was something about kids who brought their lunches that had some sort of special perk. Maybe it was just that I thought they had extra time to eat lunch since they got to go sit down right away and start eating.

On a personal note, I know exactly how the man feels when he mentions people not being judged by their character. One black man who I used to work with was a very close friend of mine, or so I thought. After he left the job…that very day, he stopped talking to me. It wasn’t until two years later that I finally learned why. He thought I was racist because I thought President Trump was doing a good job.
He completely forgot that I treated him with respect and treated him like a brother, and instead judged me because I thought President Trump was doing a good job and that made me a racist in his eyes.
