On February 5, President Trump gave his second State of the Union address in the House Chamber.

The address has been delayed previously due to the partial government shutdown.

President Trump was initially going to proceed with the State of the Union address anyway despite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s request not to as well as not allowing anyone into the House Chamber.

A whopping 76% of Americans who watched the speech approve of the President’s address while only 24% disapprove.

According to CBS News who conducted the poll,

As is often the case in State of the Union addresses, the people who watched tonight’s speech leaned more towards the president’s own party, at least compared to Americans overall. In the latest CBS national poll released last month, 25 percent of Americans identified themselves as Republicans. Among those who watched Tuesday night’s address, that figure was 43 percent, and Republicans helped bolster the overall approval of the address.

I think these numbers are B.S. frankly. This would mean that only 25% of the US is Republican. Not a chance. They do remember that Trump won the election right? Even with all the cheating that the Democrats did to try and rig the election in their favor.

To break down the numbers a little more, 97% of Republicans approved of the President’s speech and 82% of Independents did as well. These are great numbers. What I really enjoy as well is that 30% of Democrats approved of the speech also. I think the far-left Democrats are destroying the party and this is causing more to support President Trump and his excellent work.

The poll also showed some of the following:

71% of Americans believe there is a crisis at the Southern Border
72% support the President’s ideas on immigration
78% believe the President’s meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is a good idea

I think one thing is clear here, the Congressional Democrats who are fighting Trump are the enemy of America. Most American’s support Trump and what he’s trying to do, it’s the Democrats that are preventing him from getting things done.
