Piers Morgan Reveals Why Trump Will ‘Trounce’ Biden In 2024
Piers Morgan recently shared his perspective on the upcoming 2024 presidential election during his appearance on Fox News’ ‘The Five,’ offering insights into why he believes Donald Trump will emerge triumphant over incumbent Joe Biden.
Morgan delved into the Democratic party’s internal concerns about Biden’s age, stating, “They all know… two-thirds of Democrats think he’s too old. Two-thirds of his own party think he’s too old to run again.” He expressed skepticism about Biden’s re-election bid, describing him as a “dead man walking.”
Highlighting the challenge for Biden to run on his own record after positioning himself as the anti-Trump candidate, Morgan remarked, “Joe Biden ran as the anti-Trump candidate. Well, he can’t do that again now.
He has to run on his own record.” He also pointed to Biden’s approval ratings as a significant hurdle, noting, “I don’t think any incumbent president in history has won with that approval rating at this stage.”
Drawing a comparison to a cinematic icon, Morgan likened Trump’s resilience to King Kong atop the buildings. Despite his past doubts about Trump’s comeback, Morgan admitted, “I really didn’t [think Trump would make a comeback]. I thought Trump was done.”
Morgan concluded by observing Trump’s perceived momentum and confidence in his chances of victory, stating, “And my God, that guy’s got resilience. And he has got a wind behind his gate, which says to me he thinks he’s going to win.”
