Piers Morgan Posts Teaser Clip of Trump Walking Out of Interview – New Audio Shows It’s Manipulated
There are people in this world that I do not like. Not a ton of them, but there are several. I don’t hate them or wish ill upon them, but I just don’t have any interest in being associated with them or talking to them.
There are also people who I don’t personally know that I don’t like as well. Namely, celebrities and politicians are the people who normally fall into this category.
Today, these people would be Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, AOC, Ilhan Omar, etc. I think you can probably even fill in the rest of the blanks. But that list is always evolving. People who used to be on that list were guys like Jay Carney who was Barack Obama’s press secretary, and even Barack Obama himself. I really did not like him at all. He’s still not my favorite person, but he’s not on this list. While I disagree with him still, I can appreciate him just a tiny bit more than what I did. Again, don’t confuse that with support. I wish he’d never been president.
But the other person on my older list during the time of Obama and Jay Carney was Piers Morgan. I couldn’t stand the guy. Now, here he is once again trying to rear his ugly head and stir the pot.
Earlier this week, Morgan shared a short snippet from an interview with former President Donald Trump, which has sparked debate about whether it was unfairly edited. While the video appears to show Trump storming out of the interview, later information indicates that this was not the case.

“Turn the camera off,” Trump says at the end of the video clip that Morgan posted to his Twitter account. “Very dishonest.”
NBC News reported that audio provided to the network by Trump’s team appears to tell a different story about what happened.
“The two men laughed and thanked each other, the recording shows,” NBC News reported. “There are no signs of Trump’s storming off set.”
“That was a great interview,” Morgan says in the audio at the end.
“Yeah,” Trump agrees.
“Thank you very much,” Morgan responds. “I really appreciate it.”
It was at that moment that Trump apparently said, “Turn the cameras off.”
The report says that Trump’s remark about the interview being “very deceptive” was in reference to the interview going longer than Morgan apparently indicated.
“He wanted to make it look like I walked out on the interview when my time limit of 20 minutes went over by an hour,” Trump said. “The good news is that the interview was taped by us as a means of keeping him honest.”
“For those who want to make Piers look bad, compare his video promo and how it was doctored to the real thing,” Trump continued. “Hopefully they will now be doing some big changes to their final product. It just shows, however, what I have to deal with in the Fake News Media. He went out of his way to deceptively edit an interview and got caught.”
This is exactly the sort of stuff that made me not like Piers Morgan and while I’ve recently agreed with him on his take of the whole Prince Harry and Meghan Markle debacle, I still don’t like the guy.
