Pelosi Decries Trump’s Tweets Against Cummings As “Racist”, So Trump Goes For The Throat

On Saturday, President Trump unloaded on Representative Elijah Cummings after Cummings recently mistreated border officials in his role as chairman of the House Oversight Committee.

Trump tweeted,

Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA……

….As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place

According to Fox News,

Trump was apparently referring to Cummings’ questioning of border officials in his role as chairman of the House Oversight Committee. This month, he yelled at acting Homeland Security chief Kevin McAleenan for saying the department was doing its “level best” when it comes to the humanitarian crisis at the border.

“What does that mean? What does that mean when a child is sitting in their own feces, can’t take a shower? Come on man,” he yelled. “What’s that about? None of us would have our children in that position. They are human beings.”

Cummings later questioned whether there was an “empathy deficit,” a remark that appeared to anger McAleenan, who noted the agents make more than 4,000 rescues a year.

The comments may have also angered Trump, who on Saturday said that the detention centers at the border are “clean, efficient and well run, just very crowded.” He then compared that to the conditions in Cummings’ district.

Nancy Pelosi, being the Trump-hater that she is, decided to jump on an opportunity to say something about the President. So what does she do? What else…she calls him a racist for his tweets.

Pelosi tweeted,

. is a champion in the Congress and the country for civil rights and economic justice, a beloved leader in Baltimore, and deeply valued colleague. We all reject racist attacks against him and support his steadfast leadership.

What on earth about President Trump’s tweets has anything even hinting at racism?

Here’s a fact, to label someone as racist when nothing they said is racist in even the slightest…is racist!

Pelosi is plain as day saying that President Trump is racist because he said something negative about Cummings and the job he’s doing.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE!

So like a champ, the President doubles down on his statement with video evidence.
