OPINION: A New Theory on Putin’s Siege of Ukraine and Why He’s Doing It
In my estimation, I feel like Vladimir Putin is trying to cement his legacy with this act of aggression against Ukraine.
Many people are saying that he’s mentally unstable in that this is a result of being unstable. However, I’m more curious as to whether or not he got some sort of terminal diagnosis and that this is in a sense his one last hurrah to try and bring Ukraine back into the fold so to speak.
The thing is the way that he is going about it is more similar to what other dictators have done in the past such as Joseph Stalin or Adolf Hitler even.
It’s not even just the military maneuver to try and take over Ukraine that is the problem exactly though it is a problem, the biggest problem is the way that he’s going about everything. Because along with this he’s killing innocent people in the process.
And once again, it’s not even the fact that he’s killing innocent people as though they are just natural casualties of war, it’s the fact that they are going out of their way in order to do this purposefully.
A couple weeks ago we saw video of a Russian tank deliberately turn into the path of an oncoming car to run it over with someone who is driving it. I won’t include the video below in case some don’t want to see it, but if you want to see the video, you can find it on YouTube.
We also recently saw drone footage of a man who had his hands up and then was viciously executed.
But apparently, they’re going as far as to not even allow people to speak against Putin.
A Russian model who called Vladimir Putin a “psychopath” was found dead and stuffed inside a suitcase, a report says.
Gretta Vedler, 23, went missing a year ago after her anti-Putin social media rant, but the two events do not appear to be connected.
“Vedler’s ex-boyfriend Dmitry Korovin, 23, has now confessed to strangling her to death before driving her 300 miles to the Lipetsk region and abandoning the body in the boot of a car..” the Daily Star reports.
