OPINION: A Message of Hope Regarding This Independence Day
There’s a lot that’s going on in our country right now. One thing that we’ve seen a lot of in our country lately is an increase in violence.
Personally speaking, coming out of the pandemic made me more patient with people. People driving slow in front of me used to bother me more than it should have. Not to the extent that it would cause road rage or anything, but in my mind they were driving like a jerk. Not so much anymore. I’ve always heard the saying that you never know what is going on in someone’s life so don’t be so quick to jump to conclusions. I think of myself at times where I’ve had to drive extremely slow, slower than I wanted to just to make sure my kid didn’t get car sick around some turns. Others may interpret my driving as an annoyance, and I’m sure it’s inconvenient for some, but life happens.
But not everyone is of the same mindset as me and they have only grown more violent. Just this past Independence Day there were not one, but two shootings at Fourth of July celebrations. And one of the shooters was a 22-year-old. Just think, this kid ruined his life because he’ll never see the light of day again.
All that said, we still have a lot to be thankful for. Keep in mind that one of the reasons there is another uptick in violence is because liberals are mad that they can’t continue with their slaughter of the innocents that’s been happening for 50 years.
There have also been a lot of good rulings from the Supreme Court that have preserved our freedoms, even in liberal states like New York.
And of course, almost all of these instances of violence come from a liberal.
I also believe that there are many liberals who are still waking up to what the left is really offering, and they don’t like it.
Many states have also put in place different laws that works towards preserving our republic as well. We really do have a lot to be thankful for this time of year.
My advice to those liberals who hate this country is to just leave. Leave us Americans who love the Constitution and want law and order in our country, in peace. Go off and form your own nation somewhere, and then when you’re ready, come back to America and see if you can take it from us.
