One Thing That No One Is Talking About From The Mueller Report
Since the Mueller report was released the Democrats have been in a scramble to try and find something, anything to continue their deception of the public to convince you that President Trump broke the law and colluded or obstructed justice.
The Dems complain that the report isn’t sufficient because it is not entirely unredacted.
How stupid are they?
These people in Congress are supposed to be smart and know the law, yet they don’t even know that it would be against the law to release a fully unredacted report because some of it must remain confidential by law.
In a letter to Jerrold Nadler from Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd, he made it clear that a full unredacted report cannot be released.
“We are also unable to honor your specific request for the completely unredacted Special Counsel’s report because disclosing grand-jury information in response to congressional oversight requests is prohibited by law. Rule 6(e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure provides that matters occurring before a grand jury must be kept secret, except in certain specifically enumerated circumstances. See McKeever v. Barr, No. 17-5149, 2019 WL 1495027, at *2 (D.C. Cir. Apr. 5, 2019). Rule 6(e) contains no exception that would permit the Department to provide grand-jury information to the Committee in connection with its oversight role. Therefore, the Department may not provide the grand-jury information that the subpoena requests.”
Even I know this. How is it that they don’t?
Still, the report that they received is 98.5% unredacted and in fact, Volume II which is the portion regarding the investigation into the President’s actions to determine if he committed obstruction of justice is actually 99.9% unredacted.
According to The Daily Caller,
House Democrats voted to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress on Wednesday over his refusal to release the entire report, as well as underlying materials. Nadler says they need the information in order to fully understand Mueller’s findings on whether Trump obstructed justice. But according to the DOJ letter, just .01% of the redacted portions of the report already available to Congress are in the portion on obstruction of justice.
So only 1.5% of the entire report is redacted and only 0.01% of the second volume pertaining to obstruction is redacted, but the Democrats think it’s withholding too much information for them to conduct a proper analysis. Anyway, who cares? They can’t see the rest and that’s the law!
