President Trump uncovered more wasted money inside the IRS.

The IRS under the Obama Administration paid out $4.2 Billion in tax credits to illegal immigrants who were not eligible for those refundable credits.

According to Forbes,

It sounds crazy, and yet one source says Trump is the one being unfair, taking this out of context, and not counting their taxes paid. Bear in mind that undocumented immigrants cannot legitimately get Social Security numbers. However, they can file taxes with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number or ITIN. They are not supposed to get the Earned Income Tax Credit, but they can receive the additional child tax credit.

That, rather than Mr. Trump, is the culprit. Mr. Trump might also point out the arguably bigger flap over the illegal immigrants whose status would be legitimized under the President’s executive action. That boondoggle is arguably even bigger, involving the Earned Income Tax Credit. Yet it is the same refundable tax credit responsible for billions in fraudulent refunds. 

They want to say that President Trump is the unfair one? For pointing out that they’re taking money that they are not even entitled to? How does this even make any sense?

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) explained that illegal immigrants who get a social security number can go back and apply for a refund through the earned income tax credit. He said this is due to Barack Obama’s executive order on illegal immigration, and called it unconstitutional and unfair.

“It’s unfair to taxpayers that noncitizen illegals are gonna get this bonus that […] their tax money’s gonna be used for,” he said, adding that this “points to the patent unfairness” of Obama’s action.

Jordan added that it is especially unfair to the immigrants who entered the country the right and legal way.

How is it so easy to give illegal immigrants so much money, but we can’t give this much money for our own citizens to protect them? This is lunacy!
