NYC Mayor Has Been Quietly Shipping Illegal Immigrants to Canada
Last week, it was reported that New York City has been busing illegal immigrants to Canada with taxpayer-funded bus tickets in an attempt to get them out of NYC. However, not long afterwards, reports emerged that Canada was sending some of them back. In response to this, the government of Quebec, Canada’s second most populated province, has demanded that NYC Mayor Eric Adams stop providing assistance to migrants attempting to cross the border illegally.
The New York Post reported on this development, stating that Quebec has asked Adams to immediately stop sending migrants tickets so they can travel upstate from the Big Apple and eventually make their way across the border at a cul-de-sac in Champlain, where they surrender themselves to Canadian Mounties and seek asylum. The situation is overwhelming Montreal’s ability to offer adequate housing and services for the influx of immigrants. Who would have imagined this would happen?
Quebec tells Eric Adams to stop buying NY migrants bus tickets. I guess Canada is not a sanctuary Country after all. All the progressive leaders talk a big game until the illegals show up at their doorstep https://t.co/BFkeCG0YHk

QUEBEC is very liberal, they vote for a Liberal PM every time. But they aren’t happy that NY City is bussing and dumping illegals on an unmanned crossing. And Democrats accused GOP Governors of playing games…Adams is playing games with another Country FFS.https://t.co/JQxfIn6AnP

This news has sparked a debate over immigration policies among those who claim they are committed to offering sanctuary for illegal immigrants. With many questioning whether or not it’s appropriate or even responsible to send people off into unknown environments with no guarantees of safety or success. There is also concern over whether or not cities should use public funds in such a manner while other public needs go unmet and neglected.
The situation is further complicated by reports of overcrowding, as increasing numbers of immigrants make there way northward in search of a better life only to find more uncertainty waiting on the other side. This presents unique challenges for governments as they try to balance humanitarian concerns with enforcing laws against unauthorized immigration while still ensuring that everyone’s basic rights are protected. There is a real simple fix to all of this if the Democrats would just listen.
