The bill that was signed into law in Florida that recognizes the rights of parents that they already possess is a huge step in progress in the public education system.

Ultimate progress would be to abolish it altogether, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

I truly believe that children in the public school system are in more danger today than when you or I were kids in school. Things are much different now and they are at more risk of being indoctrinated with leftist propaganda and they’re more at risk of being bullied or in the path of, God-forbid, a school shooter.

Over the last year or two, several people have left the liberal haven of New York City for greener fields like Florida. Now, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is hoping to bring them back by introducing something that the antithesis of what Florida is doing. Rather than allowing parents to safeguard their children from propaganda and teaching them about sexual matters at a young age, Mayor Adam is proposing TO teach them at a young age, kindergarteners even.

“We are going to loudly show our support, to say to those who are living in Florida, ‘Listen, we want you here in New York. Want you right here in New York City,’” Adams said in City Hall, where he was flanked by LGBTQ lawmakers.

“It’s more than just saying that. It’s also standing up and aligning ourselves with the men and women of LGBTQ-plus community, and state that we are in unison with you and your right to have a self-identification, your right to live the lifestyle, live the life that you choose to live, without any form of harassment.”

Are these people serious? Are they demented or what? How on earth did people ever come to the conclusion that teaching people as young as kindergarteners? When I was in public school, sexual education class came during 7th grade and lasted about a week. It was nothing graphic, it was school. It was how things worked. We didn’t watch anyone give birth on a video either. Also, it was done only after we brought in a signed piece of paper from our parents granting us that permission.

The world is different and it’s a less safe place right now thanks to Democrats.
