One of the things that many people have been suspicious of when it comes to the events that happened on January 6, 2021 is what role, if any did every group of people present served in what actually happened.

What I mean is that there were protesters who were there just to show their support for President Trump and to demand that Congress complete an investigation into certain states and their election results.

Then there were some people who were part of larger groups like Proud Boys and Oath Keepers that were there that day as well.

We also know that Antifa was there that day to stir up trouble. I’ve even seen video footage of these individuals changing from wearing one group’s attire, to then wearing the other in an effort to blend in with the crowd.

But then there has been the question of whether or not there were any federal agents involved in the chaos that ensued and what role they may have played in it.

There is one man that goes without mentioning who many people are suspicious of as being a federal agent who was trying to instigate violence and trespassing, yet he somehow has entirely escaped jailtime like the rest of the Jan. 6 protesters.

Now, we know thanks to a court filing this month that the FBI had 20 ATF agents embedded at the protest.

According to Epoch Times,

“At least 20 FBI and ATF assets were embedded around the Capitol on J6,” read a footnote on Page 6 of the motion. No other details were provided in the document.

The footnote said defense attorneys “combed through a mountain of discovery,” including FBI form 302 summaries of interviews conducted by FBI agents.

In addition to the information about law-enforcement assets on the ground at the Capitol, the footnote says, the Oath Keepers “were being monitored and recorded prior to J6.”

What happened that day was a bit of a mixed bag. There was the good, the bad, and the ugly. But I would like to know how much of it was a set up to begin with because we’ve seen the Capitol police opening doors for people and letting them inside the building. That’s not how riots and “insurrections” happen.
