New Book Reveals Which Royal Made “Racist Comment” About Prince Harry and Meghan’s Son
I think the opinion of the Royal family is a bit divided on a number of levels.
On one hand, I think most people think favorably of the Royal Family as a whole, but over the last 5-10 years there has been a whole lot of controversy. Most of it has revolved around Prince Andrew, but includes Harry and Meghan as well.
To analyze further divisions, the opinions of Harry and Meghan are quite divided as well. They have demonstrated themselves to be quite liberal now and therefore liberals seem to like them, but conservatives don’t.
Many have accused them both of being liars, especially Meghan. There was even some rumors that they started that some racist comments were made by members of the Royal Family.
Now, I think we’re getting a look at who may have said these remarks. According to a new book, the claim is that Harry’s stepmother, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles made the racist comments about Harry and Meghan’s son Archie (who was unborn at the time).
Tom Bower claims in “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors,” out now in the UK, that “The Sussexes’ suspicion that the Duchess of Cornwall had made racist comments about [their then-unborn son] Archie had fueled their fearsome denunciation of the entire royal family.”
Bower goes on to write that Camilla allegedly made a “racist” remark about what Meghan and Harry’s future child’s hair would look like, sometime after their relationship became public.
“During those weeks, Harry met Charles and Camilla at Clarence House. In Harry’s version, the conversation alternated between serious and joking and touched three topics,” Bower writes in an excerpt obtained by Page Six.
“First, Harry was told that Meghan should continue with her acting career. Second, Scotland Yard could not automatically be expected to pay for his girlfriend’s 24-hour protection. And third, according to Harry, someone speculated about what his future child would ‘look like.’ In one version, Camilla remarked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if your child had ginger Afro hair?’”
If you ask me, that’s just being a little bit of a snowflake. There’s nothing racist about that statement. Someone explain to me how that is supposedly derogatory? What is the actual offense? Is it the ginger hair color? Is it the afro hairstyle? Neither of those things are racist. People with certain genetic traits, which would be passed from Meghan to Archie, may have a hairstyle that allows them to have an afro. Likewise, people with certain genetic traits, which would be passed from Harry to Archie, may have reddish hair color. Again, where is the offense?
There is no offense, it’s just Meghan being a snowflake and wanting to make herself and her family out to be victims because that’s the hip thing to do in the liberal world. It’s a competition over who can be the most oppressed.
