Nancy Pelosi Calls $600 Significant, But Talked Trash About $1000 Bonuses from Trump Tax Plan
So Congress finally passes a new stimulus bill, and it is a piece of trash.
All this time arguing over taking care of Americans and making sure they get direct payments, and they settle on sending out a measly $600. This is trash. They are trash.
But Nancy Pelosi, seems to be proud of it and called the amount “significant”.
Pelosi said, “Also, have in the legislation direct payments which were not in the Republican bill to America’s working families. I would have liked them to be bigger, but they are significant and they will be going out soon.”

She’s so full of crap.
We remember that when President Trump was able to lower taxes for Americans, companies started dishing out bonuses to their employees. And guess what? Those bonuses were higher than what Congress just authorized as part of the newest stimulus plan.
Approximately 2 million employees received raises and bonuses after President Trump’s tax plan went into effect. Most of these companies gave bonuses of $1,000 or more! They even said that the reason they were able to give these raises and bonuses was because of the tax bill.
What did Nancy Pelosi think of these bonuses? She called them “crumbs”.
“Well, the number of bonuses that were given—well, one of the bonuses was already in a union contract, and then they added a little more money to that. That same firm just told their employees that they were going to be laying off 1,500 people and if they want to save those jobs they could all start working 32 hours in those communities.
So in terms of the bonus that corporate America received versus the crumbs that they are giving to workers to kind of put the schmooze on is so pathetic, it’s so pathetic.”
Well, if those were crumbs, what the heck do you call payments of $600 in a plan that adds up to nearly $1 trillion? I can it a slap in the face to Americans everywhere.
Earlier this year, the Senate was willing to negotiate with the House and offered them a nearly $3 trillion plan, which even included more money in direct payments to American families, and she rejected it. How on earth does she think this plan is better? I can tell you exactly how, it’s because there are more payments to her cronies in the corporate world.
