How Government Can Solve the Election Integrity Problem
In my opinion, the biggest problem that we have with the election is the machinery, that is to say, the Dominion voting systems. I’ll guarantee you that these machines could single-handedly be held responsible for flipping the election to Joe Biden instead of President Trump.
What needs to be done in order to ensure true election integrity is for Dominion to be eliminated. There is just much too much controversy surrounding them.
Next, we need a complete and transparent method of verifying the software. I think there needs to be someone from the RNC and the DNC to each hire their own analysts to examine the software and the hardware to make sure that everything looks good.
From there, we need a method of ensuring that these machines are NOT connected to any internet or even have the ability to do so. So that means, no WiFi, no ethernet ports, no Bluetooth, no anything. If there are going to be USB ports, I think that we need some form of way to make sure that they are tamper-proof and that if that tamper-proof seal is broken that it disables the machines.
Here’s the catch. We won’t be able to see who won the election on election night more than likely. There won’t be any updating of the numbers as the night goes on because there would be no way to relay that information. Once all of the ballots have been counted, there should be an encrypted piece of data produced in which those handling the numbers cannot see who won the election. It is then placed into another machine where there are all logged and tabulated and once all of the precincts have done this, then another encrypted piece of data is produced. Multiple copies of this would then be handed over to various entities such as the RNC, the DNC, the White House, and the State Department to verify the results.
There are still some other ideas that I have as far as guaranteeing election integrity, but I think that this give a general idea of how this could work.
