A man from Texas claimed that his manager at the apartment complex he just moved into told him to remove the American flag from his balcony.

The apartment manager told the resident, Duy Tran, that his having the American flag hanging from his balcony is a threat toward the Muslim community.

This is a clear cut case of liberal logic…and stupid.

“What really stunned me is that she said it’s a threat towards the Muslim community,” said Duy Tran, who moved into the complex a few days ago.

Now Tran is standing in defiance of the manager and in loyalty to America because the American flag is special to him.

Here’s the way I see it, if the American flag is a threat to you, then this may not be the country for you. In America, we love our country and we don’t like those who hate our country, those are called enemies. Plus, we wouldn’t want you to be threatened by our American way of life.

When reporter Alice Barr of KHOU 11 News tried asking the manager about the situation, she simply handed the reporter a prepared written statement and then had the police escort her and her news crew off of the premises.

The statement read:

“While the Lodge on El Dorado admires our resident’s patriotism, we must enforce our property rules and guidelines. Such guidelines maintain the aesthetics of our apartment community and provide for the safety of all residents. The apartment community already proudly displays our country’s flag in a safe and appropriate manner at the entrances to our community.”

But Duy Tran refuses to back down. “I’m going to leave my flag there, as an American, until she shows me proof that I don’t have the right to leave my flag there,” he said. “I have friends that died for this country.”

There are a number of other neighbors who also have patriotic symbols hanging from balconies in the apartment complex.
