MSM Twists Attack on Senator’s Home into ‘Peaceful Vigil” (VIDEO)
If you haven’t heard already, earlier this week, protesters gathered at Senator Josh Hawley’s home in St. Louis, disturbing the entire neighborhood, beating on doors, vandalizing property, and scaring the residents and especially the children of the neighborhood.
This includes Hawley’s wife and newborn daughter.
Sen. Hawley said, “Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Hawley wrote on Twitter. “They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by left-wing violence.”
But that’s not how the mainstream, twisted liberal media outlets are writing about the event.
Bulls**t!
This was no candlelight vigil, this was an attempt to terrorize @HawleyMO’s family, his wife & kids, and neighbors, you made that very clear.
This is what those leftist socialist anarchists want to do to this country, tomorrow Georgia gets a chance to reject them! https://t.co/9SQxe6bHlG pic.twitter.com/MBTsBRIeSf

According to the Washington Post, this was nothing more than a “peaceful vigil”
Demonstrators with ShutDownDC, which organized the protest, told The Washington Post that they did not engage in vandalism or even knock on Hawley’s door. A 50-minute video shared by the group shows protesters writing in chalk on the sidewalk, chanting through a megaphone and at one point leaving a copy of the Constitution on Hawley’s doorstep.
“This was not threatening behavior,” said Patrick Young, a ShutDownDC organizer. “This is people engaging in democracy and engaging in civil discourse. … This was a pretty tame and peaceful visit to his house.”
Police in Vienna, Va., who responded to the protest, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post late Monday. The group’s video shows several officers asking protesters to quiet down, but then standing by as the crowd continued with its demonstration.
Now “vigil” means screaming threats through bullhorns, vandalizing property, pounding on the doors of homes and terrorizing innocent people and children https://t.co/naRMkrBWWO

There’s nothing peaceful about making threats, going up to people’s houses, screaming through bullhorns, vandalism, and all that mess.
I don’t know if these people were actually from Antifa. In all honesty, I would say that it wasn’t because I think they would have done a lot more violence if it were Antifa just based on what we’ve seen in the past.
Regardless, it shouldn’t have taken place.
