Michelle Obama and Gayle King Said Obama Administration Had “NO SCANDAL”
During an interview at the 25th annual Essence festival in New Orleans, CBS host and Oprah’s BFF Gayle King was interviewing former first lady Michelle Obama, the two of them agreed that during Barack Obama’s presidency, he did not have any scandals while in office.
Michelle said,
“You could look at his crowd and you would see America. All of it. And I had to sit in [Trump’s] audience, one of a handful of people of color and then listen to that speech, and all that I had sort of held onto for eight years, watching my husband get raked over the coals, feeling like we had to do everything perfectly, you know, no scandal.”
“Yeah,” said Gayle King.
“No nothing,” said Michelle as you hear the crowd cheer. “No nothing!”
“Yes. No scandal,” said King.
Obama said they and African Americans, in general, had to be “better than perfect” to be considered equal.
Take a look at the video for yourself
Here is @MichelleObama claiming that the media were so rough on the Obama Administration, they had to be "better than perfect," with "no scandals."

Hmm…I’m sure I could think of a couple if I really tried.
How about Benghazi?
Or what about “Operation Fast and Furious”?
What about the IRS targeting conservative groups, the Clinton email scandal, spying on President Trump, illegal NSA surveillance, paying ransom for hostages in Iran when we don’t negotiate with terrorists?
Even the former president Barack Obama has deceived himself in believing this garbage also.
Obama said, “I didn’t have scandals, which seems like it shouldn’t be something you brag about. But actually, if you look at the history of the modern presidency, coming out of the modern presidency without anybody going to jail is really good. It’s a big deal.”
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Obama had more scandals than any other president in history and I’d like to hear what he has to say about each and every one of them.
