Maxine Waters Responds After Being SLAMMED By Judge in George Floyd Trial
As you already know, Rep. Maxine Waters opened her big mouth about the George Floyd case, and it could cost her dearly.
First of all, what she did was call for more violence and she should absolutely be expelled from Congress for such a remark. She should also be banned from Twitter, just like President Trump was.
But on Monday, during the closing arguments from the attorneys, Judge Peter Cahill slammed Maxine Waters for her careless and harmful comments.
“I’m aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction and talk about being confrontational,” Cahill later added. “This goes back to what I’ve been saying from the beginning. I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law and to the judicial branch and our function. I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful and in a manner that is consistent with their oath to the Constitution, to respect a co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so I think is abhorrent, but I don’t think it has prejudiced us with additional material that would prejudice his jury.”
Ultimately, Judge Cahill said that he doesn’t think Rep. Waters’ opinion matters a whole lot.
But Judge Cahill is right on the money. These buffoons need to keep their stupid mouths shut because if something does happen where an appeal is granted, it’s likely going to be because of Maxine Waters.
So what was Maxine’s response? What is it that she gathered from that whole thing from Judge Cahill’s rebuke? She said, “The judge said my words don’t matter.”
Really? That’s what the takeaway was from his statement? How about keep your mouth shut about the case? That’s the big takeaway that I got from it.
