Mark Cuban Rages Over Elon Musk’s Twitter Takeover: ‘X Is A Cesspool’
Mark Cuban, billionaire entrepreneur, has unleashed a fiery tirade against Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, now rebranded as X. In a recent appearance on the Impaulsive podcast, Cuban didn’t hold back, labeling X as a “cesspool” and expressing his frustration with the platform’s decline.
“It’s a sh** hole, right? You can’t win no matter what. Everything like…. less and less time. Elon fu**ed that sh** up badly,” exclaimed Cuban, echoing the sentiments of many who have observed a deterioration in X’s quality since Musk’s takeover.
Cuban’s discontent stems from his clashes with X users over the contentious issue of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies. He has frequently sparred with Musk and others on the platform regarding the merits of such policies in the workplace.
“Good businesses look where others don’t, to find the employees that will put your business in the best possible position to succeed,” asserted Cuban in response to criticism from Musk about DEI. “You may not agree, but I take it as a given that there are people of various races, ethnicities, orientation, etc that are regularly excluded from hiring consideration.”
However, Cuban’s stance on DEI policies has drawn criticism from X users, who have pointed out instances of alleged hypocrisy, including the lack of application of such policies in his own NBA team. Despite the backlash, Cuban remains adamant in his views, continuing to clash with X users and Musk. The ongoing feud has only intensified, with Musk reportedly referring to Cuban as an “insufferable tool.”
As the debate rages on, Cuban’s outspokenness and Musk’s influence continue to shape the discourse on X, leaving users divided and the platform in turmoil.
