There’s a saying, “If you’re going to be dumb, you’ve got to be tough.”

This is precisely the case for a young man in Morocco after he was sentences to three years in prison because he has the not-so-bright idea of pulling a prank for Tik Tok views.

Some people do crazy things for attention, especially on Tik Tok. I’ve seen all sorts of challenges over the last 5-10 years. Do you remember the Tide pod challenge that led to the deaths of several young people? That’s what happens when you put poison in your mouth.

One of the recent ones is the dry scooping challenge where people put a scoop of preworkout powder in their mouth and eat it. One young girl ended up having a heart attack for acting like a fool and doing this.

Well, this one I think takes the cake, because he was literally inches away from dying, and all for the views.

A young man set up a table and a chair on a train track and forced the tramway train to stop just inches away from hitting him and likely killing him.

The young Casablancas who had blocked the tramway by setting up a table to have his coffee was sentenced to three years in prison by the Casablanca Court of Appeal.

His two accomplices who had filmed the scene were sentenced to two years in prison. The Court also decided to award 40,000 DH in damages to RATP Dev Casablanca.

The young man was identified and arrested on May 23 by the DGSN and then placed in pre-trial detention, for this action punishable by law.
