Man Confronts Thugs Breaking Into a Car in His Neighborhood What He Did When They Started Shooting Sent Them Running
The world is a much different place than what it used to be when you and I were kids.
We may not even be the same age or even close to the same age, but the fact remains that today’s society is much more wicked than when we were growing up.
I don’t think that it’s something that can’t be fixed though. Things have been radically different at different points in our history. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it was bad. The fact that we came back from the bad and made things good once again should be a testament that our nation can change.
I happen to think that the right move is more along the lines of secession, but maybe there is something better that will help us all get along once again.
When I was younger, I used to wander around my neighborhood without a care in the world. We didn’t have to worry about anyone kidnapping us or violence or anything like that. The worst thing that you’d see happen during an argument is a fist fight. Nowadays, fights are an event that often leads to death.
If you honk your horn at the wrong person today you could end up getting shot for it. People have no ability to regulate themselves.
According to KTRK,
A resident east of downtown Houston exchanged gunfire overnight with a group of would-be car thieves.
It happened in the area of Nagle and Capitol Street and involved at least three men, the resident said.
The trio had broken into a car in the neighborhood when the resident said he got into his truck and confronted them.
“I start honking to tell him I know they’re breaking into that car,” the resident, who did not want to be identified, told ABC13. “At that point, they turn back and I did the same thing to light up the street. About half-way down the street, they pull out guns and start shooting.”
Another resident in the area also saw what was happening and had called police before the gunfire started, the resident said.
The resident said he pulled out his own gun and started shooting back.
“They chased me all the way down the street to the walking trail,” he said. “I can’t believe all three of these kids had guns.”
It’s hard to believe that these people have the mindset of being entirely willing to kill someone, go to prison, or be killed just to break into a car.
