Fox Mulder was known for his belief that the truth was out there. What that truth is and where “there” is is something left somewhat open to interpretation.

But it looks like he’s been right all along. The truth IS out there, we’ve just got to find it…or better yet, it has to find us.

As a kid, I grew up believing that there was life on other planets somewhere. I had no idea where, but I’d seen enough TV shows about UFOs and aliens to make me believe in them. I think I also gained my belief in them because my dad was convinced that they were real as well.

In fact, my dad swears that he and his brother saw one with their own eyes as a kid. He told me the story that he and his brother were outside at night and that there was something that hovered over the trees that lit up everything like daylight. He told his brother to go inside and get their dad and when they came back out, it started gradually leaving then zipped away faster than anything possibly could.

What really amazed me about this story from him is that not only was it corroborated by his younger brother, but years after hearing the story, we were watching Unsolved Mysteries and there was an event that was described that was nearly identical to an event that they were describing.

Today, I’m more pessimistic about aliens, but there are definitely UFOs and I’ll leave some room for life outside of our solar system.

The U.S. military has been very helpful in recent years in actually declassifying video footage that they have obtained of UFOs.

“A recently leaked video captured by the U.S. Navy shows an unidentified flying object off the coast of San Diego moving across the sky before suddenly disappearing into the water,” reported The Hill. “The video obtained by documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbell was filmed in the Combat Information Center of the combat ship the USS Omaha on July 15, 2019.”

“The US Navy photographed & filmed ‘spherical’ shaped UFOs & advanced transmedium vehicles; here is some of that footage,” tweeted Corbell. “Filmed in the Combat Information Center of the USS Omaha / July 15th 2019 / warning area off San Diego @ 11pm PST. No wreckage found. No craft were recovered.”

“This footage is unclassified. Still images of this footage were included in the May 1st, 2020 UAPTF intelligence briefing that I have previously reported on,” Corbell added, directing interested readers to his other platforms for further information.

So what exactly UFOs may be is still undetermined. Maybe they’re top secret military aircraft from our country or a foreign country. Maybe they’re really aliens from another world. The truth is out there.
